Water will not penetrate and instead will slide off immediately, 100% wicks off upon touching the fabric surface. Note: We don’t recommend or suitable for use in heavy rain or keeping permanently outdoors. It must be stored away in harsh weather. When you buy the sample, the 10x10cm swatch for colour and test for water repellence – it will come with a sticker saying the following: “The Fabric is is not 100% Waterproof, ITS WATER REPELLENT. Not suitable for prolonged exposure in damp or rain. Store indoors after use” We want you to be sure and mange expectations, so you are happy with your purchase. It’s a very suitable fabric for Outdoor use where you don’t want water penetration into the material, its shouldn’t be for a permanent outdoor solution. The fabric is made from 100% polyester with a PU coating making it lightweight, windproof and water repellent. It is ideal for indoor or outdoor upholstery, seating, seat pads, beanbag coverings, boats and caravans.

• Waterproof Properties: The Surface is coated with PU so the water does not penetrate; it wicks off 100% immediately. The Surface also dries very quickly after raindrops. Not suitable for permanent outdoors throughout the year or in extreme weather.
